Supporting #foodbankadvent
We heard the first Christmas song on BBC Radio 2 yesterday (James Blunt what were you THINKING?!) and so we feel able to mention the C-word. Whilst you’re in the Supermarket stocking up for the impending apocalypse (just us?) could you consider adding some extra tins for the Foodbank Advent campaign? It’s a cause dear to our hearts and we’ve been busy helping with the design and print of shopping lists and leaflets for the two local Foodbanks that we support, Mid Cheshire and Nantwich. They do great work all year round but it’s obviously nice for them to be able to include some treats in their parcels at this time of year.
From Thursday November 30th to Saturday December 2nd, Nantwich Foodbank will be collecting in the Tesco Superstore Crewe and Mid Cheshire in the Tesco Superstore in Northwich. Tesco top up these collections by 20%, so if you happen to be around, any donations would be very gratefully received. As always, we are acting as a collection point during December so feel free to drop donations off in Middlewich if it’s easier. We’re also donating the Bomy’s Biscuits that would usually go to our lovely customers during December – and trust us, that’s a LOT of biscuits!!
