One key feature that sets apart the new bizhub i-Series is the “Authentication Attack Detection” feature, which allows organisations to block unauthorised attempts from brute force attacks aimed at cracking passwords and accessing data externally. With reports showing a 160% annual growth in brute force attacks, this feature is essential for safeguarding sensitive information.
Additionally, organisations can opt for Bitdefender protection, providing additional layers of security tailored for various user groups. This helps prevent malware from spreading to other networked devices and ensures that the MFP does not serve as a gateway for corporate data loss. In case of threat detection, the anti-virus promptly notifies the IT administrator with detailed information on the threat’s type and source, while end-users can monitor the anti-virus status via the home screen easily.
More User Friendly
Apart from enhanced security features, the latest models boast improved user-friendliness to streamline workflows in the workplace. The user interface has been upgraded to be more intuitive, enabling users to group applications into folders by theme or frequency of use, like smartphones. This makes it easier to access applications quickly, especially when dealing with many of them. Moreover, commonly used functions that previously required installation via Marketplace are now preinstalled as standard, enhancing user convenience.
Furthermore, single sign-on options for Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Entra ID) and Google Workspace users have been integrated into the latest models, simplifying access to files or folders through SSO. The option to include up to four trays or three optional trays for A4 devices increases paper capacity, allowing a wider range of media to be handled in a single print job while reducing media replenishment needs.
